Quality assurance consulting, accredited trainings for ISTQB and IREB and Design Sprints – all over Germany, online and inhouse.
Since 1998, trendig has supported companies across Germany in improving software quality throughout the development process and using AI in a targeted way. From our base in Berlin, we provide accredited ISTQB® and IREB® training as well as consulting and coaching in AI and GenAI, software testing, requirements engineering, DevOps and collaboration within development teams.
AI & Software Quality: Consulting, Coaching and Training
trendig combines expertise in AI and GenAI with many years of experience in software quality across the entire software lifecycle. We support companies in integrating AI effectively into processes and systems, improving software quality systematically and preparing teams for new requirements.
We see software quality as a shared responsibility across the entire team. High quality does not begin with testing, nor does it depend solely on better requirements. Developers, testers, requirements engineers, Product Owners and other stakeholders all contribute to building quality in from the start and embedding it throughout the development process. This is the quality culture we aim to develop and strengthen together with companies and teams.
Together, we assess where you are, what you want to achieve and which skills, methods or changes will help you get there. Based on this, we develop tailored consulting, coaching, training and workshop formats and implement the next steps with you – practically, pragmatically and for as long as your situation requires.
Accredited Training
As an accredited ISTQB® and IREB® training provider, we offer practical courses in software testing, requirements engineering, AI, agile development and DevOps – live online, onsite and in-house. Through our partners, we also offer training in ITIL®4 and PRINCE2®.

A federal authority wanted to further develop its Requirements Engineering practices across different projects and departments. Its requirements ranged from the fundamentals of requirements analysis and agile Requirements Engineering to quality requirements and cross-functional communication between IT and administrative teams.
trendig translated these requirements into two customised in-house training courses, combining the organisation’s objectives with established Requirements Engineering practices, a strong agile focus and real-world questions from the participants’ day-to-day work.
The training created a shared methodological foundation across project and departmental boundaries. At the same time, participants strengthened their ability to select methods based on the specific task, stakeholders and project context.

I was permitted to spend 5 days on an ISTQB training course with Jenny and Steffen. Despite the relatively "dry" subject matter, it was interesting and useful because there were lots of practical examples. The catering was also excellent.
And even vegan on special request.

Testimonial:
We did a design sprint with trendig and are completely thrilled with the result as well as the perfect and professional implementation. :)
The application of this methodology was new to us and José's leadership of the sprint completely exceeded all expectations.
It is simply a great feeling to be able to achieve a concrete result including customer evaluation within just one week instead of suffering through months of workshops that only lead to small fractions of these results.
Thank you very much and see you at the next sprint. :)

They sure host a fantastic conference. Their events planning and management is impeccable, really couldn't be improved, and the ideas, conversations and connections that are facilitated at AgileTD are precisely what energises me and helps me to be better every day at work. They know their stuff, for sure.

Testimonial:
I have successfully completed several training courses at trendig and not without reason: apart from being prepared perfectly for the exam at the end, the training is incredibly beneficial. It's not just the course content that is very interesting, but also the personal experiences of the trainers, which are always brought in and therefore make the content much more lively.
All the staff are really friendly and welcoming, so you can only feel comfortable with them. I would choose trendig every time!

I did the Design Sprint Master certification workshop at trendig in Berlin. Thumbs up! One time through the complete sprint in fast-forward with real customer interviews and testers - a very good "hands-on" exam preparation from which you also take away some aha-effects for the later application of the process. A great atmosphere, nice training rooms and a good coach - that's what training should be like!

Frequently Asked Questions
What does trendig mean by software quality?
For us, software quality starts long before the actual testing. It is built throughout the entire software lifecycle – from clear requirements and good development processes to testing, DevOps and the sensible use of AI, all the way to collaboration within the team. That is why we look at technical quality, processes and the people who develop software together.
When does training make sense – and when consulting?
Training builds targeted knowledge and methodological skills. Consulting comes in where a specific challenge in a project, process or team needs to be solved. The combination is often particularly effective: we teach methods and knowledge and then help apply them to your own working reality.
What role does collaboration play in software quality?
Software quality is a shared responsibility. Clear requirements, good test strategies or modern tools only reach their full effect when roles, communication and decision-making within the team work well. That is why, where needed, we also include team processes, communication and different ways of working in our consulting and workshops.
Does a company have to work agile to work with trendig?
No. We work with agile teams just as much as with companies in regulated environments, traditional development models and hierarchical organisational structures. We choose methods and tools to suit each company's goals, constraints and existing processes.
How does trendig keep its training and consulting up to date?
Our work combines recognised standards with practical project experience and continuous exchange within the software quality community. As an accredited training provider for ISTQB® and IREB® and the organiser of the international Agile Testing Days, we constantly engage with new developments in software testing, quality engineering, requirements engineering, DevOps and AI, and bring relevant approaches into our training and consulting projects.
