The course follows the ISTQB® Certified Tester AI Testing (CT-AI) syllabus, version 2.0. Its content is organized around the syllabus’s seven chapters:
- Chapter 1: Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Chapter 2: Quality Characteristics for AI-Based Systems
- Chapter 3: Machine Learning
- Chapter 4: Testing AI-Based Systems
- Chapter 5: Input Data Testing for Machine Learning Systems
- Chapter 6: Model Testing for Machine Learning Systems
- Chapter 7: Machine Learning Development Testing
Since 2005 trendig is an accredited partner of various authorized ISTQB® representative local boards like GTB (German Testing Board), ATB (Austrian Testing Board), ITB (Indian Testing Board) or SSTQB (Spanish Software Testing Board).

The Certified Tester AI Testing certification is aimed at anyone involved in testing AI-based systems and/or AI for testing. This includes people in roles such as testers, test analysts, data analysts, test engineers, test consultants, test managers, user acceptance testers, and software developers. This certification is also appropriate for anyone who wants a basic understanding of testing AI-based systems and/or AI for testing, such as project managers, quality managers, software development managers, business analysts, operations team members, IT directors, and management consultants.
prerequisites
To gain this certification, candidates must hold the Certified Tester Foundation Level certificate.
exam & certification
The ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level (CT-AL) AI Testing v2.0 exam has the following attributes:
- The exam consists of 40 multiple-choice questions.
- The exam duration is 60 minutes. Candidates taking the exam in a non-native language are permitted an extra 25% of the time (75 minutes in total).
- To pass, candidates must score at least 65% of the available points.
A total of 44 points is available, and at least 29 points are required to pass.
To gain this certification, candidates must hold the Certified Tester Foundation Level certificate.
