what do beginners in software testing need to know?

In this foundation level seminar, you learn the most important software testing terms and principles. Step by Step, we go through all the stages of the software testing process, from the planning to the specification to the testing and to the documentation of tests. We address professional test methods and show how they are connected methodically.

Important: The new syllabus for the "ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL)" in version 4.0 is out! And the standard for training at trendig from 2024. You will receive a modern toolbox for software testing - regardless of location, background and experience. In addition to traditional development models such as the waterfall and V-model, the new ISTQB CTFL version 4.0 teaches the more dynamic approaches of agile software development such as DevOps, as the existing ISTQB Agile Tester certificate has been integrated. There is also greater focus on test automation, risk-based testing and Aceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD in short).

It is the most extensive change to the ISTQB basic course since it was created over 25 years ago. The rather timeless basics of software testing have been transferred to the modern working world, in which iterative software development in the context of agile working has become the standard in software development. The ISTQB aims to evolve testing from a series of activities that are usually performed in silos to a collaborative team approach where quality is the goal of all activities.

We also offer this course as a 3-day version for in-house courses. However, this is only possible by special arrangement, please contact us by email at training@trendig.com.

All our trainers have many years of experience in the field of software testing, and a have track record as consultants in small and big projects.
