Marion includes more than 35 years of solid project experience from large and small projects in her trainings. From her first steps as a programmer to various roles mainly in the financial industry at banks, Sparkassen and investment companies, both in Germany and in Switzerland, she was involved in numerous software development projects. All in all, her experience includes testing & quality management and project management.
For Marion, it is important that the participants gain a lot of knowledge from her training for their practical work and gain "best practices" and "good to know" experience through the exchange with the others. Using memorable examples, Marion teaches the participants* that even small steps and measures can significantly improve quality. To recognize what is "nice2have" and when perseverance and persuasiveness are necessary in order to achieve good software quality is important to her. Marion sees herself as a pragmatist and hopes with her tips and "tricks" to be able to give the participants valuable help for their daily work.
Aware of the balancing act between quality demands and adherence to deadlines and budgets, she knows how to find and recommend a good way between the important and the urgent as well as necessary and possible aspects of testing. She is also happy to discuss specific problems with course participants during breaks and after the training and to offer food for thought for alternative solutions. Preferably with a cup of coffee and a delicious piece of cake, because she needs that like air to breathe.
