trendig's terms and conditions apply exclusively. Any provisions of the customer that conflict with or deviate from our terms and conditions shall not be recognized unless trendig has expressly agreed to these terms and conditions in writing.
For reasons of better readability, the masculine form is used for personal titles and personal nouns on this website. Corresponding terms always apply to all genders in the interests of equal treatment.
The training offers of trendig are subject to confirmation and non-binding.
The registration of a course participant for a course can only take place in a binding manner via the website or, in acknowledgement of these general terms and conditions of business, in writing, by email or by fax. The booking shall not be deemed to be binding until a written confirmation of the registration of the participant has been issued by trendig. Confirmation of registration does not constitute a legal entitlement to the training course.
For didactic and organizational reasons, the number of participants for each training course is planned with a minimum number of participants and limited by an upper cap; registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received.
The amount stated in the training description is the participant fee (net) to be paid for the training. The participant fee includes all teaching materials and documents issued during the course as well as the use of the software for the duration of the course.
In addition, participants in open on-site training courses receive lunch, light refreshments during breaks, snacks, soft drinks and hot drinks during the course.
14 calendar days before the start of the course, trendig confirms that the course will take place and informs the training participants of all binding details relating to the course, such as the training location, start times, instructor and any technical equipment that must be brought along.
Depending on the type of training, a certification examination may take place at the end of the course. This examination either takes place directly at the training location after the training or can be taken at a later date using a voucher. When the participant registers, the exam following the training is also booked as binding, unless this is expressly canceled in the comments field of the registration. This fee will be invoiced together with the training fee.
If the certification examination is not taken within the period specified by the responsible independent certification institute, the voucher expires. There is no entitlement to reimbursement by trendig as the organizing training company. The general terms and conditions of the certification institute issuing the voucher apply to the use of the examination voucher.
Participants must present a valid identity card or passport for the certification examination.
Participants' expenses for any examination fees, travel to and from the venue, accommodation or transfers at the training venue are not included and will be listed separately if they can be booked via trendig.
trendig reserves the right to cancel events if the minimum number of participants is not reached or for serious reasons (e.g. illness of the speaker or force majeure). In exceptional cases, events may also be canceled at short notice.
trendig also reserves the right to make changes to the schedule, the course location, the instructor and minor changes to the course content for serious reasons: Training content may deviate from the content presented in the offer and/or on the website insofar as this is appropriate at short notice according to trendig's expertise in the sense of updating the training content in order to improve the professional training of the participants. trendig is entitled to use suitable replacement speakers in the event of staff absence or shortages without having to obtain the customer's consent in individual cases. This can also be done by commissioning qualified subcontractors.
If, as a result ot the location or course time changes, a participant is unable to attend the training course, trendig shall attempt to rebook the participant(s) to another location and/or date with his/her/their consent. Otherwise, the participant fees already paid at these times will be refunded in full. There shall be no further legal claims, in particular reimbursement of costs arising from loss of working hours, travel or hotel costs, etc.
Legally effective cancelations are no longer possible after a booking has been made. A rebooking request must always be made in writing, by e-mail or fax, to the contact details given under §1. Participants can only rebook once (1 time). If a date for which a participant has been rebooked is canceled by trendig, the participant must be rebooked for a new date. In this case, there is no entitlement to a refund of the participation fee.
After trendig has confirmed the registration, the customer may nominate a substitute participant up to the last working day before the start of the training course. The nomination of a substitute participant is free of charge. Should it be necessary to send out further documents to carry out the training, trendig will charge a fee of 50 Euros for this.
Up to 28 calendar days before the start of the course, no fee will be charged for rebooking to a later date. If a rebooking is made within 28 to 15 calendar days before the start of the course, a fee of 25% of the participant fee will be charged. For rebookings made 14 calendar days or less before the start of the course, 50% of the participant fee is payable. On the day the course starts, it is no longer possible to rebook and the full course fee must be paid.
In the event of a rebooking, the price applicable to the original course registration remains valid.
All fees shown for open training courses are per person in Euros and do not include the applicable statutory VAT. The current prices at the time of registration apply.
For bookings made up to 8 weeks in advance, there is an early bird discount of 15% on the regular seminar fees.
For the registration of several participants per calendar year, trendig offers framework agreements that include a graduated discount. These special agreements must be made in writing and cannot be combined with other trendig promotions.
Unless otherwise stated, discounts cannot be combined with each other.
trendig offers special in-house contracts for in-house training courses at the customer's premises. These special agreements must be made in writing.
Die Teilnahmegebühr für die Teilnahme an einer Schulung ist innerhalb von 15 Kalendertagen nach Erhalt der Rechnung in voller Höhe zu zahlen. Ungeachtet der vorstehenden Regelung sind die Gebühren spätestens bis zum Beginn des Seminars in voller Höhe zu entrichten. trendig behält sich das Recht vor, Teilnehmer/innen von der Schulung auszuschließen, wenn die Zahlung nicht bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt erfolgt ist.
Nach Ablauf der Zahlungsfrist tritt Verzug ein, ohne dass es einer weiteren Mahnung bedarf. trendig ist dann berechtigt, Mahnkosten zu berechnen.
trendig rejects any liability for itself or its employees to the extent permitted by law, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. In particular, damage caused by computer viruses is also excluded.
The participant who is responsible for damage to software, hardware or equipment is liable for such damage.
For some courses trendig uses open source software. This product created by the community is not error-free and may hinder the smooth running of the course. In these cases, trendig imparts the know-how without practical or with the remaining practical exercises. There is no legal entitlement to a reduction in the participation fee for these reasons.
All rights to the materials, documents, software, hardware, etc. provided or used in the course remain entirely with trendig. In particular, trendig reserves the rights to reprint and reproduce the training documents in whole or in part. trendig only grants the training participant a non-exclusive, non-transferable right of use for the purpose of learning. No part of the training materials or the software used in the course that is protected by copyright and trademark law may be reproduced, processed by means of electronic systems, duplicated, distributed or publicly reproduced in any form without the written permission of trendig. The participant commits not to copy any materials, documents, software, hardware etc. and not to take them out of the course premises.
The participant agrees that trendig technology services GmbH may process the customer's data required for business transactions in compliance with data protection regulations.
The participants are obliged to treat as confidential the business and trade secrets of trendig and/or the other participants as well as information designated as confidential which becomes known in connection with the training and not to pass them on to third parties.
Participants shall observe the applicable data protection regulations.
Participants can participate in online training via the meeting software used. Participants who register for an online event agree with their registration that their audio and video content will be transmitted to the trainer and other participants using the online conference software. The recording of this content is generally prohibited for all participants.
The place of jurisdiction for all disputes that may arise as a result of registration for or participation in trendig training courses shall be Berlin, subject to the application of the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. There is no obligation to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.
