target group
The course "ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level - Test Manager" (CTAL-TM) is based on the basic course (CTFL) and is aimed at advanced participants, who already have several years of practical experience in testing. The course is suitable, on the one hand, to reinforce one's own knowledge with more in-depth theoretical knowledge and, on the other hand, to gain deeper insight into test practice. Prerequisites
For the participation in the training, concrete software knowledge and practical experience in IT projects are essential for a deeper understanding. To obtain the certification as "ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level - Test Manager", the basic certificate "ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level" requires at least 18 months of practical experience in software testing in addition to the successful final examination.
exam & certification
The participation in the exam is optional. We assume that you take the exam after the training course. However, please inform us during the course booking if you wish NOT to attend the exam.
The exam lasts 180 minutes and takes place on the last day of the training course. We help you organising your participation in the exam. The independent certification body charges 260,00 Euro plus VAT for the examination, which we invoice together with the training course fee.
With online training, you can choose the day and time of the exam. You can take the exam in a Pearson Vue test center or online on the Pearson Vue exam platform. For this purpose, you will receive an exam voucher from us, which is used in the payment process when booking.
Non-native speakers are eligible for additional exam time
